The fog monotonously crept in
Slowly beclouding my inmost
Blindly, I barrel forward

The fog is blindingly dense
This remote place is piercing and desolate
Isolation has become my dwelling place

Barricades are assembled offering hopeless refuge
Slipping into reflections of former existence
Lost in an obscure inhalation

The ghostly battle relentlessly rages on
The reverberating howls are overwhelming
My decrepit form collapses into Your enduring arms

A deafening thunder shakes my feeble body
I am surrounded by Your avenging fire
The aghast screeches of my enemies choke the air

Silence
Sweet silence
Peace fills my soul

Your arms are safe
Your heart is genuine
Your steadiness is indescribable

Finally rest is attainable
Revitalizing dreamless sleep
Shelter under peaceful wings

I awaken redeemed by Your showers
Bathed in Peace
Flooded with Joy

Jehovah Rophe
Mender of my broken spirit
Redeemer of my soul

Jehovah Shalom
Sole Author of peace
Harmonizer of serenity and ecstasy

My insufficient existence is made glorious through You
Because of You I have purpose
For You I breathe

I relinquish my life to You
Complete abandonment
Selfless Surrender
