Christ on Earth
(written 9-17-03)

Where are You, Lord?
When is Your visitation, God?
When will Your Order of the Universe
be fulfilled?

“I am the prisoner, visit Me.
I am the sick, comfort Me.
I am the naked, clothe Me.
This is My Order of the Universe,
It is My greatest desire,
second to being with you.”

What is Your will for me?
What would You have me do?
Fulfill Your plan in me,
Release me to serve for You.

“I am here, behind bars.
I am there, in the infirmed bed .
I stand shivering in the cold,
with nothing to cover Myself.”

“I have freed you,
so see Me in the beggar.
I am the widow,
without companions.
I am among those
who need Me most.”

“You look for Me in the wrong places.
You seek and do not find.
You have looked in the wrong corners.
Fulfill your need to love,
and love those I ache for.”

“I am here,
with the prisoner and the sick,
the beggar and the lonely.
Seek Me here and there
and find My plan for you.
Seek Me in them
and you will find Me
in you.”
