We got to see what He can do with one
Once He got hold, drew her to His Son;
Talents from her first birth, gifts from her second,
Sang of the Lord's mirth, best as she reckoned;

She captured hearts by being who she was,
With songs and words so eloquent, stirring up the dust;
Their ache in losing her attests to His glory,
For she aimed to sing and speak His good story;

The outer one perishing, renewed within each day,
Trusted the One she's cherishing, praising as she may;
No word of complaint or regret for difficult life,
She simply gloried in that earthly strife;

This was the witness, seen in failing flesh;
This was the Lord, in Whom she found her rest;
When He delivered her from her evil pain,
He made death His victory, praise His holy name;

Servant of the Lord, a woman who leaves a legacy,
Lived as one adored, thriving in His mercy;
Blazed a trail with song, up to His throne,
In weakness made strong; now she is home.

Note: For Sondra Isaminger, a sister in the Lord who devoted herself to ministry through music to witness to the Lord of her life. She went home to be with Him January 8th of this year, leaving behind her husband, John, and a daughter, Victoria. She was 51, but the ministry she was a part of with her husband, Under the Influence will continue on.

Under the Influence is an outreach ministry using music, such as soul, funk and R&B, as a way to reach out and serve the community and to share the gospel.

I do not see her end as a tragedy, but as victory; glory going all to Jesus. She was an immense impact on my own ministry.

This is how I will remember her.
