Fear is the dragon in the peaceful inner world
It spoils the love, it poisons the hearts
It destroys the dignified buildings of thought
It ruins the longings innocent and pure
It creates doubts in the mind of friends
It takes revenge on a friendly foe
When man is ambitious to move ahead
Fear stops him at once and says
Better not to move, better not to go ahead.
If once planted it grows speedily
And makes man doubt even that person
Who is ready to sacrifice his life for you.

Wise wise words my friend. My favorite part of your poem was "It takes revenge on a friendly foe." I loved how you worded "friendly foe." A friend not a foe. I think thats how it can seem sometimes with fear. We dont know who each other all when we're overwhelmed with fear, but when we learn to let go.. thats when we see our foe as a friend. Theres a saying that I've heard before that says, once we take fear by the hand we can accomplish anything.
