Your Spirit moves over valleys
Your Spirit moves over my soul
Your Spirit moves the mountains
Your Spirit makes me whole.
Your Spirit speaks to me gently
Your Spirit stirs weary hearts
Your Spirit makes me aware
Your Spirit will not depart.
Your Spirit gives me strength
All power is within your hand
For even winds and waves obey
You keep me from sinking sand.
Your Spirit keeps me from drowning
Beneath the high crashing waves
Your Spirit holds me in mighty arms
Your grace is which that saves.
When the winds blow so violently
Lord, hear my desperate pleas
For your Spirit speaks the loudest
When I am upon my knees.
