My soul seems is being crushed from this weight;
Each day is a struggle with each step that I take.
Unable to get beyond this load I carry on my back;
Lower to the ground I sink with every attack.
I can’t see beyond the weight of this heavy load
I can’t take another step struggling down this road.
Then in restless sleep I am to your Holy book led;
“Cast all your anxiety on me,” I clearly read.
I will not give you more that you are able to carry;
Give your load to Me, don’t continue to tarry.
Lord, how many blessings have I missed every day,
For I failed to cast all these burdens Your way?
Burdens are to be placed at the feet of Your throne
I know I’m not meant to carry these all on my own.
