where can I go
where can I turn
been many places so far
not willing to make the wrong choice any longer

I will step where You step
I will go where You go
the ache in my heart needs to be replaced
by the sweetness of obedience in following You

You have invested too much in me
to walk away
sacred price
Holy

Your fragrance surrounds me
I don't want to leave
where can I go
where You are not

take my hand
lead me
I'll be leaning in You
resting in You

willing to push back
fear of not knowing
where You will lead me
where we are going

willing to give up
and surrender
to this love I'm feeling
as it seeps in and mends

walls of resistance are falling away
freeing me up - releasing
wonderful deep breathing
bubbling over joy

You're drawing me away
from myself
I take my eyes off me
to focus on You

don't want to be satisfied
with remnants of yesterday
want to find Your color
Your jewels - in each moment

this love is irreplaceable
let me not escape it
capture me
there is no where else to be

so I surrender all that's been
in the way
till it is just You and I
that remain

You did a wonderful job on this poem. I like the way your first stanza is the only searching in the poem. From the second stanza to the last you show only a growing desire to follow the Lord.
There is a minor contraction error in the ninth stanza. "Your" should be "You're" or "You are". Welcome to FaithWriter's.
