If I Only Knew How to Change

If I only knew how to change
Whatever stronghold that was in my mind
I know I would walk closer to Jesus
And realize His power more, and not mine

If I only knew how to change
Less battles I would face
It sure seems like it would be easier
To run my God given race

If I only knew how to change
Less people me they would not ridicule
I would not be condemned or judged
Or told that what I do is not cool

If I only knew how to change
Then I would get all glory
I would not need the Lord
To write this chapter in my story

If I only knew how to change
Then how could I see God’s grace?
For it is His work not mine
So that I will His glory taste.
