My Friend

A friend loves at all times
Through the good times, the bad
And sometimes in-be-tween
No matter where life might lead
No matter what you might need
She has the perfect seed
“Love”

Let it be said that a “true friend will cause no grief”
All the best for her you seek
The pain you bare will be lighter
As she lends her shoulder
To take the load
Heaven and earth meet
Jesus is in the know
Love puts on the best show
“Friends”

A true friend will wipe your tears
A true friend keeps those years
True as the river winds
True as the morning light
True as the dark of night

On and on, life keeps turning
She never leaves
Never gets tired
Accepts you how your are
The bond between you is love
Protected by angels up above

As long as the earth
Is traveling on a perfect Axis
And the Sea is floating because of plates
That friend is there no matter what
One day, two friends will step inside the gate
Hand in hand, you’ve traveled
Toward the mark of the highest calling in God
“Heaven”
