It takes time to learn this lesson, pain leaves an impression, but I'm near.
My love walks in freedom and freedom's disinclined to befriend fear.

Love now, just for My sake, for the moment, for the person.
As you grow, watch how I interpret every meeting, every parting. You will know.

Think then, of your flowers, how they grew beneath the sun and gentle rains.
Can you see, My morning angel, how many of your loves with me, remain?

How you cried when they were dying, as they wilted, no denying what you felt.
Their beauty has stayed with you. In all the gifts I bring, your heart will melt.

For I, the friend of seekers have caught your every tear, your every sigh.
So now, through understanding,you'll know when to exhale and you'll know why.
