A Time to Chat
When the Lord calls upon me from the path,
I slow down and turn off my daily distractions.
I focus my attention in stillness
Blind and deaf to what is around.
I call out, 'What is it Lord?'
I have time to chat.
I turn off the screen, close some pages
Remembering to place the markers in their proper places.
I go to my secret alcove
For a timely visit.
