A Cry For Help
Who Will Save The Children
Children get hurt, they make wrong steps, and they say the wrong things sometimes. Who is it that will reach out to help them? Who will save them from the pit?
Isaiah 30:8-15
Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book that it may be for the time to come forever and ever
That this rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord
Which say to the seers, see not; and to the Prophets, prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits
Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us
Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, because ye despise this Word, and trust in oppression and perverseness and stay thereon
Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant
And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters vessel that is broken in pieces, he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth or to take water withal out of the pit
For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; in returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength; and ye would not
Children are unborn or born persons; a young person between infancy and youth; childlike or childish person, person not yet of age, that is strongly influenced by another, a place or state of affairs, the product or result of a bond. They are usually immature in some area of life, lack poise, spiteful at times, lacks complexity and they tend to deteriorate in mind and body at some point in life. Even though they act childish sometime they are marked by innocence, trust and ingenuousness. They act out at sometime the simplest tasks or act, do not look at things as significant, as with getting injured, they will get injured at the same point over and over again before they catch on and not allow themselves to be hurt again.
The importance and happiness belonging to the possession of children is clearly shown throughout the Bible, likewise is the sorrow and disappointment of the childless wedded emphasized. Children are regarded as divine gifts, pledge of God’s favor and the heritage of the Lord. Children were a promise as a reward of righteousness. The prosperity of the children greatly depends upon their obedience to God, parents, teachers, preachers, and leaders. It was also known that they parents played the greater role in that when they obeyed God their children were also blessed above measure. Good children obey their parents, but wicked children will receive punishment. Good children observe the laws, submit to discipline, honor their parents and care for them. Believers are children of God.
Sometimes as believers they step off on the wrong feet, them may step in the street and get a foot broken or may even depart from the body, but do we just let them lie waste and die? No.
Children are an inheritance from the Lord. They are precious commodities. How can one get hurt and no one is there to bandage their wound and nurse them back to health whether it be spiritual or natural. How can the Christian, one with understanding and Godly fortitude, followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, those that have suffered for Christ, not glorify the Father by being insensitive to one of God’s little ones? How can they turn their backs on the hurting soul? Well it is all in how they look at it.
If a child should sin seventy times seventy they will see to their natural child, how much more a spiritual child. The Christian cannot say “oh they just will not do right or they keep doing the same thing over and over so there is no hope for them or they will be all right after while”. This kind of attitude shows a lack of spiritual parental covering.
Yes children do get hurt, get bruised and nasty bumps. They are bleeding inside, though they may not cry. To treat their ailment will it be okay just to patch up the outside and apply nothing to heal the wound? Is it right for Christians to shift the problem to be handled by someone else when it is in their power to address it themselves? God called the shepherd of his flock to mind the sheep, to keep them from getting hurt and see to their spiritual needs. Often time this job is shifted to someone else and the children are forgotten about. No one does the job. They lack sensitivity and the one authorized to get the work done is not sensitive to the Holy Ghost. Leaders oftentimes are so overwhelmed with their own problems that they do not think on the needs of others more than their own. Children are dying and who is there to care. Are you the cause of their death?
The Israelites were God’s chosen people but they were dying from a disease called spiritual disobedient deprived. Saving grace is continual but not an excuse to sin. There is no reason why children born into the kingdom of God should practice sin, seen or unseen. Grace is also not a reason for self-righteous judgmental amnesia. It is time to cut off the stiff neck and put on one that is flexible enough to bend to the needs of others and work the harvest. Just think if you were out in the world, would you want to be like you?
Where lies the priority of the Christians today? To save a soul, nurture it to health with the Word or just let them go to Hell? The Christian do not practice things they call sin, but they are lacking in areas of importance when they do not take sin head on in the lives of others. They are failing terribly. Do the Christian care that men and women; boys and girls of all race, color, and creed are perishing daily right under their tutelages?
Jesus said suffer the little children to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus came to the world to save the lost, redeem children back to right relationship with God. We owe a debt that we ourselves could never have paid. Suppose Jesus would have bailed on the world? Christians would not have a chance at eternal life. It is not to down the Christians but they complain about others and what they do or do not do. But what are we doing to heal the hurts, mend the broken hearts, heal the sick, restoring sight to the blind and taking every soul by force from the enemy?
Born again believers walk in the stead of children in the sight of God, they get hurt just as children does, make the wrong steps sometime and they need someone to reach in and pull them out of the pit. The pit has enlarged itself and if one is not careful they are on their holy way to the pit of Hell just as the Israelites were. Not only must the Christian preach but write it if need be so that it is plain. Hang up the word and expose it in public view carefully noting it as a testimony against sin. They are to forever bring man’s sin before him causing them to repent and turn away from their wicked evil ways. What shame man face is caused by sin and thus the reason the Word is written to all those that will hear and heed it when it is spoken. If it is lost due to the ignorance of man the children suffer lack but they also can obtain salvation. People often think of God’s Word as being to hard to live, to harsh to the flesh and severe and they tend not to hearken to the Word, but continuously die in their sin using this as an excuse.
The Leaders is to give the Word, provoking change that others will not do as they did, lest they should fare as they fared. It is designed for admonition to those of the remotest place and age, even those upon whom the ends of the world have come. They do well to write as well as preach because what is written remain. Christians are to not let their good be evil spoken of by wasting away their God given character. The judgment of God is according to the truth. The Israelites rebelled against their own convictions and covenant. They are children that lie, will not stand on what they say, and that promise fair but performs nothing.
Children as the Israelites will rebel against divine authority. There are some that will never hear the law of the Lord, nor heed it but will do as they have a mind to do. They turn a deaf ear but yet will account for what they do or do not do. The charge drawn up against them is very high and the sentence passed upon them very dreadful.
Children still forbade God’s Word to be spoken to them. Faithful Ministers will not be driven from using God’s expressive Word as are proper to awaken sinners, though they be displeasing. They will be told rather they hear or not, whether they adhere to the Word or not. The ground of God’s judgment is because they despise his Word. They slighted the gracious directions God gave them to live by; teaching them how to not only secure themselves and be safe, but how to compose themselves and make their way prosperous, yet they still chose what they thought was an easy way. God’s way was to give them salvation and strength.
Who will reach in and save the lost? A cry is being made today to help the lost find Christ. Reach back and pull someone else upright that they may seek the Lord also.
