Three kings heard the news
of a child, born that night
most kings would not be drawn
to such a humble sight.

He was a little baby
in a bed of hay
and besides, wealthy kings
don't come around this way.

They brought Him gifts
of frankincense, gold and myhrr
and gathered around the barn
with the shepherds and their herds.

Why were these kings
at the barn, on that night
did their spirits tell them
there was more than meets the eye?

God made the rich men humble
He was holy in their eyes
that is why the bible
calls these three men wise.

They were men who understood
that this little child
came to save the world
beginning with Zion.

Their hearts had rejoiced
at the birth of this king
and they glady gave Him
their finest offerings.

These actions defined wisdom
by not always being right
but being led by the Spirit of God
to this glorious sight.
