Faith
Sweet Influences
Thinking upon old times in my life
Of winding journeys in the past
Sweet influences conquered strife
For only Divine Love shall last.
Falsehoods dissolve in final decay
While Salvation triumphs on His Day.
Moving forward with greater sight
And with Lord Jesus by my side
Sweet Influences cast True Light
Upon my heart, once filled with pride.
Changed and cleansed by Heaven’s rain;
No longer do I live in vain.
Psalm 104:34
My meditation of him shall be sweet:
I will be glad in the LORD.
