Slayer of Passion

Spark of life
Rippling through my soul
Echoing to awaken
The slumbering whole

Whisk me now
To the spire of bliss
Seal it now
With a singular kiss

Draw me up
From Hell and the Grave
Hold me tight
My soul for to save

Take me now
My one and my all
The shattered pieces
From Sorrow’s great fall

*****

Baring now
Your blade of cold steel
Touch to my rib
Its prick I can feel

Driving it home
With quick cold eyes
Its touch bites deep
And sharp inside

Drawing it out
Slowly I die
Without a word
You sever our tie

Sinking back down
To Hell and the Grave
Passion’s short life
I thought you would save
