Gabriel said; Your future's been read,
I knew he was talking to me.
From the beginning, life has no end
As we shade 'neath that old apple tree.
He came down to Jordan, immersing himself
And said, as you're just passing by,
Show me the face of the whole human race
And I answered him there's no goodbye.

Let there be light, the director was right
When he showed the sun how to rise.
I'm always with you is his sole reward
For the tears our ancestors have cried.
He came down to Jordan, fell to his knees
And said as you're just passing by
Under His grace live the whole human race
And I answered him love satisfies.

Oh Adam the first, how we're quenching your thirst,
How the fields and forests have changed!
Beautiful sunsets, spectacular stars, see he flowers have grown once again.
He came down to Jordan, felt so at ease
With a far-away look in his eyes.
I propose a toast to the Heavenly Host
And I answered him, love, so do I.
