The Spiritual Fight

Our fight is not against Bin Laden
As the man by the enemy is deceived
He is following a lying spirit
And in his lies, he has believed

Though his sin was very grievous
Appearing worse than yours or mine
Sin is still of the devil
No matter the extent, it just makes the people, blind

If sin is of the devil
Than what really is our fight?
The only way to eliminate sin
Is by the Blood of Jesus, and a spiritual fight

Yes, we can go kill him
But that spirit will still go on
And capture another sin sick person
So the problem is never gone

We just can not kill
All the people that have sin
There wouldn’t be a church
The world would have to end

Jesus said “He that is without sin”
“Let him cast the first stone”
We must seek the blood of Jesus
For his sins, to atone

I know that this may not be popular
But as Christians, we must walk in love
And pray for and forgive others
And let vengeance, come from above

God’s Word said that we do not wrestle
Against flesh and blood
So our fight is not Bin Laden
We need a spiritual flood

God said he would take care of our enemies
But our fight must be of him
We need to deal with the spirits
So that people can repent from their sin.

Many people are bound
And have eyes that do not see
As satan has blocked their vision
So in God’s spirit, they are not free

Jesus came to give life, abundantly
The devil came to kill, and steal, and destroy
So if we go kill a person with sin
We just gave in to satan’s ploy

There is nothing that, the enemy would like better
Than for us to kill a lost soul
For this is one less, for God’s kingdom
And one less for the Book of Life, role

We say that this man is evil
And God would not want him
But he is no different than us
He is just blinded, by his sin

We do not understand that
God would want him in heaven above
But there is not one person
Outside the extent of God’s love

Jesus died for all
Not just you and me
He even died for Bin Laden
To be saved and be free

I don’t know about you
But God, I will not play
And go and kill a soul
For thou shalt not kill, my God, did say

Two wrongs never make a right
Though through our pain it appears what should be
But remember we can’t really win
Unless we pull down the strongholds, of the enemy

I wonder what would happen
If all were on their knees
Crying out to God for his power and mercy
To come and crush, the real enemy.
