Fear

Man gets so rattled
By this thing called fear
Yet he fails to realize
It’s just a lie from satan that is near

It takes faith to please the Lord
So the enemy sends his fear
Fear is not just a word
But a demonic spirit talking in our ear

It has one purpose
Which is to kill, steal, and destroy
It will always rob from us
It will always steal our joy

Fear is also faith
Yet in a negative sense
It furthers satans’ plan
It takes us away from God’s intent

It blocks our power and love
It kills our sound mind
It is designed
To keep us behind

To allow fear to rule
Is our choice
Though when walking in fear
We cannot sense God’s voice

It is time for us
To just look fear in the face
And tell it to go
Behind us, is its place

We are going on with God
We are going to trust in His Word
We are going to walk by faith
So we take up our sword

We trust in God
No matter what circumstance may say
Jesus is still our Lord
He alone rules our day!
