My mind can not fathom
My heart can not express
How simple is Your love
You I can not impress.
A mustard seed of faith
Is all that You require
For Your eternal grace
My heart is Your desire.
Up from the ash heap
New growth I’ve found
For my God and Savior
Lifts to higher ground.
Lifting me when broken
Giving joy when I’m down
Grace new each morning
Keeping my heart sound.
He will keep me going
If strength is not around
For His strength and help
Is my soul’s resound.

Giving joy when I’m down."...I needed these words of encouragement right now. I am DOWN right now, as I am grieving over the premature death of my dog. Oh how I miss him. But I have to accept that God has a purpose in everything....Thanks Dannette, for this good poem...God bless you....Helen
