Intimacy with Jesus

Intimacy with Jesus
Is the most glorious place that man can be
Safely held in His loving arms
Protected from all the wiles of the enemy

Intimacy with Jesus
Will bring rest to your soul
It will give to you peace
That the world can never know

Intimacy with Jesus
Will open many a new door
It will give to you direction
It will cause things to be easy instead of a chore

Intimacy with Jesus
Will cause you to know His heart
You will view people different
As with Jesus you are set apart

Intimacy with Jesus
Just like a bride with her mate
Nothing is hidden
When love does saturate

Intimacy with Jesus
Where all your heart to Him you share
Where all the struggles of this life
Are to Him open and bare

Intimacy with Jesus
Is the place that we must go
If we are ever to find our destiny
Then in love with our Savior, must be so

Intimacy with Jesus
Is our making Him Lord of all
And just being obedient
To His every call

Intimacy with Jesus
Means total trust in Him
And spending much time in fellowship
Because Jesus wants to be our most intimate friend

Being intimate with Jesus
Is the answer to every man
That will give the revelation
And reveal His glorious plan.
