Testimonies
“How do you do it!” people exclaim.
“Why keep going with heartache and pain?”
I ask, “What would you rather I do?”
“Stop giving or living or be true?”
I cannot choose what should be my lot.
But must decide to trust God or not.
Serving Him doesn’t protect from strife.
Nor will pain dictate my daily life.
One day at a time, I need not fear.
God keeps on proving He’s always near.
Because He promised, I’m not alone.
His spirit in me, I needn’t groan.
Time in His Word and stopping to pray,
Is how I can do it day by day!
