RE-STAY WITH ME…BE WITH ME!

Like in a vision, I see the heavenly yonder
Yet the journey is far, abide a I’ll longer
Am filled with trepidation
I beg of you to lead on

Stay with me…be with me

It’s cold out here, and am scared
But I’ve made vows sacred
Seems no end to this journey
It’s easier with your company

Stay with me…be with me

Just a few more miles
And we’ll cross the isles
Not too soon we’ll be home…
Safe in the celestial dome

Stay with me…be with me

As I cross the Nile to Zion
Dark billows hover on the horizon
My heart faints, my courage wane
But with you I’ll make gain

Stay with me…be with me

Oh Lord! Be with me on board
My hope is your word
Just one more wave
And I’ll be safe

The weather is getting clearer
My salvation nearer
Soon I’ll see the sun
And be with the Son

Stay with me and be with me

I sail to the higher realms
Stay with me at the helms
Be with me till port
Together we’ll berth at bay

Stay with me…be with me.
