The Spirit of Unity
Before the world was, I was.
Before the world was, we were.
Jesus in St. John 17 identified himself as the son that had followed the instructions of his Father. Just as Jesus, man also must obey. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost all work together as one. They are unified to get a job done at all times. The Father however is the one the others obey. Unity is oneness, the state or quality of not being multiple. A condition of harmony, accord continually without deviation or change in action or purpose, a totality of related parts undivided in its total effect, and a source needed for spiritual health, growth and prosperity.
Jesus came in the flesh
The Holy Ghost helps man with their flesh
God receives man back out of the flesh
In the flesh, with the flesh, and out of the flesh God wants to be glorified. Man’s only glorification is in God himself and man cannot glorify God in their flesh. Man was created to the praise of God’s glory. Jesus came and taught men how that God must be glorified. Everything was of the Father and not of Jesus himself. When God will be glorified in the life of men, he is first in everything they do, think, or feel. God is never served however by how one feels because he goes against the grain of nature. What’s natural for man to do is what he must overcome.
If man will try God’s way for once and be glorified of the father through a sanctified mind, soul, and body they can finish the work God called them to just as Jesus did. One thing for sure is this; they must have a willing desire to sell out their lives to God. How does one do this?
1. Overcome the flesh
2. Manifest God’s name
3. Keep his Word and give others the Word
4. Pray for others more than yourself to be in unity with God
5. Come out from among those that walk disorderly, stay sanctified
God knows the motives (moving or tending to move to action, something that cause a person to act) and intents (the design or purpose to commit a wrongful or criminal act, act or fact of intending, directing the mind on, directed with strained or eager attention, to make one act in a certain way) of all actions and I am not pleased said the Lord. God is tired of being lied to.
What God have said will be, he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow he changes not. God can say something and it can be today and deliverance will come or it can be next year. When man fight God’s will they can only lose. God’s promises are based on how well my first plans are obeyed.
The Devil plays the same games over and over again with the minds of Christians. They tear down whatever and whomever they need to, to get what they want, not what God ordained. If necessary they will steal the arc out of the Church to get their way by telling lies on others. They may find out a little truth about someone and then lay out a plan to destroy their witness with a little of truth covered by lies. A lie piggybacks off of a truth and the truth takes a long time to come forth but God has a remedy for truth, his Word. When one will tell lies on others they are of their father the Devil. They must be brought before the person lied on and another before two or three witnesses and let them repeat the matter in front of the accused, and the Pastor or leader of the group. This hinders the Spirit of God from moving and the work is stagnated until the matter is agreed upon.
The Spirit of Unity is hindered when one or more people in the body are found to be disorderly. All the game playing with disorderly Christians produces more strife in the Ministry and lives of other people that may want to come to the Lord. They are standing in the way of sinners and sitting in the seat of the scornful. God is not pleased with the mischief (harm, hurt, injury) this causes in the lives of others. Mischief is born out of adversity (distress, affliction) and a man is born for adversity, for they will suffer adversity. They have been specifically set up to receive injury or damage attributed to a particular agent. Mischief is a source or cause for harm, evil, or irritation. They are being mischievous, able or tending to cause annoyance, trouble or minor injury. These actions are irresponsible and playful behavior. They lack good sense or normal prudence and fore sight. These people are full of folly, evil, wicked, idle and it is unprofitable for the one that has born the folly in their heart. It is expensive with and excessively costly price tag. Folly means void of sense, sin. The simple inherit folly and it is a joy to them, their mouths speak folly and they see folly in everyone else other than themselves. They are snared by the words of their own mouth.
They must deliver themselves, humble themselves, look at the ant and consider their ways and wise up. Until they learn to follow the Leader that is their guide, overseer and ruler, they will never see God. God has set in Order those things that one must do to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Their Pastor must give an account for the souls entrusted into his care, Preach and teach as Jesus did with his disciples and leave each man without excuse. The Pastor also must pray for his flock, as Jesus did for the disciples.
Prayer For The Flock
I have manifested your name Lord to the people that you gave me, those called out of this world to fulfill your purpose in the Earth. You called them into this body and I pray prayerfully that they would keep your Word.
Whatever Lord you have given me of your Word to feed them, I have fed them. They have received your Word and know that I came in your name when I spoke that they should hear and believe.
I pray for them, I pray for the world that they may be saved, delivered, and set free from their sin, but I also pray especially for those you entrusted in my care that all of them are yours and will work the work you called them to do in this particular vineyard.
Keep them I pray through thy own name that they may be one with you and me as we are. Let the scripture be fulfilled in their lives that none would be lost and your joy may be full in them. Keep them from all evil and cover them with your blood and sanctify them through thy truth.
God has expectations from Christians, those that call themselves his and their lives is centered in Christ. Many Christians do not pray as to where they should go to continually be fed as I Corinthians 16:17 says where they can be unified with the Father as he use the man of God of that house and they can get all that they need to continue to keep the lack out of their lives. Keeping lack out will cause one to grow spiritually as well as naturally, as a baby receives of his parents what he need in life he is enriched and grows. When a Christian grows without deformities he can help someone else along the way and not cause them to perish. They will grow up to be salt, seasoned for the journey. Then being enlightened by the Word that lights up the path that they must walk, they come to the light. This makes the journey easier and they can get to the place, the city where they will find all that they need.
If one will be seasoned for the journey, they are purified to be the salt of the earth. This salt will cleanse them of all impurities and preserve them. They are the light of the world because they have been enlightened to the truth of who God is and accepts him as he is. God will then set them apart for service on a hill sanctified. With this they have substance and God can be glorified in them and them in him.
It is time that every Christian that names the name of Christ is unified with God and man. Fulfill their God ordained purpose, be in the right place to be edified and get the right seasoning for the journey that only God can supply and be careful not to be the cause of someone else dying by withholding the truth from them of who God is. If the Christian causes a wreck in the life of others by misrepresenting the truth they will pay for it the rest of their lives; people will lose respect for them, they wound their witness and will not maintain their integrity in that persons life. What is it worth to have scandal attached to your name? The only true witness one has in life is the witness of who Jesus is so why kill it with motives and intents meant to plant bad seeds in the minds of others?
