PLAYING SAFE.
Toiling and struggling in life most time can be traceable to the ignorance of men.
Countless numbers of people always wait for the best and risk free time before they make a move to fulfill their God ordained assignment. They want to play safe.
You cannot obtain the wisdom to go forward in life by re arranging your ignorance. You must remove your safe playing mentality.

Two hungry friends went to a kind rich man for assistance. They begged of him for some relief package with which they could take care of their families and probably make their lives better. After speaking to them at length, he gave a bag of maize each and asked them to see him in five-years time. They both thanked him and left.
It didn’t take an eternity for five years to come. Both men returned to the rich man as they had agreed. One came with gifts of clothes, crops and livestock for their rich benefactor. He has become wealthy and his fame was on the lips of all and sundry in the village.

The other was poorer than he was five years ago when they both came together. The rich man was surprised to see the other young man in this pitiable state after the encounter with him five years before. ‘What did you do with the bag of maize I gave to you?’ The man replied, “The bag of corn was terrific. It’s just that I wondered how you expected my family and I to live on a bag of corn for five years. Five years-five years. Mine! That would require a miracle.
Anyway, we fed sumptuously for about two months and then we had to start looking towards other sources when we finished it. Thanks all the same, it was most thoughtful of you.” Stupefied, the rich old man starred at him speechlessly. “You ate the seed?” He asked unbelievably.

“It was the wisest thing to do. What if I planted and the rain refused to fall? What if the ground was not fertile? What of if I ended up with a terrible harvest? What would have happened to my family? I WAS ONLY TRYING TO PLAY SAFE. You won’t blame me for that, will you?”

The rich man replied him reframing his own questions. “What if the ground was fertile? What if the rain fell as at when due? What if you had ended up with a bumper harvest like your friend did? When you plant your seed in your stomach, you will only end up with a harvest in your sewage thank!
