Why joy and peace rest
Within me.

Each day is a gift God provides
Where spirited songs of the heart
Celebrate the blessings of life
Friends and love-
Quiet reflections…
On things
Above.

Thank you, Jesus
For cleansing me
Giving me faith
To finally see…
How your love and
Presence
Set me free.

Thank you, Jesus
For your blood and tears
For guiding me throughout
The years with your
Embraceable
True Light.

How can we have anything but a heart that sings thanks to the Lord, God of our salvation? There are never words enough to bring to Him the glory and honor He is so worthy of. (But I like your attempt here :) It brought a smile to my heart and I know our God is grinning from Ear to Ear!
