It’s Time to Worship, It’s Time to Praise

It’s Time to worship our Lord Jesus
It’s time to praise His Holy Name
It’s time to lift our hands towards Heaven’s gates
And expect the Holy Spirit rain

The earth is getting shattered
Many wars are trying to rage
The enemy of our soul
Is trying to take our rightful place

Just as Joshua and the children of Israel did, at Jericho
They shouted and the walls came tumbling down
We need to let our enemy know
That God’s people are still around

The enemy thinks that he beat us
But not by, a very long shot
God’s people are still victorious
And our weapons, carnal, they are not

So when all seems to look hopeless
And your smile has become a frown
Lift up your hands in praise and worship
And those vain imaginations, cast down

It’s time to worship the Lord Jesus
Because we are not alone
For we shall win this war
By fighting God’s way, not our own.

It’s time to worship the King of Kings
It’s time to praise the Lord always
It’s time to lift our hands towards Heaven’s gates
And watch the enemy, flee away.
