Philippians 2:5-11; Ps 16:2

The Greek word ‘kurios’
Represents the banner under which
Slaves addressed their master,
No wonder I became curious about
The respect that was given to their authority
If Jesus was my Lord
Then, I cannot afford to neglect
My level of respect for Jesus
That is why I read several pages concerning this issue
I needed a tissue because I was in error because
I did not do Jesus a favour when I accepted Him
But far greater, He accepted me

Therefore, we should know that
Salvation is a command because we are
Simply coming back to our normal position
This is nothing new and only a few might understand this
However, when God brings light
He often changes our ‘sight’
Jesus is Lord and is much more than Saviour
Therefore, we have to watch our behaviour
Thus, Christianity is not a favour for a favour…
The Lord accepted us and so if Jesus is our Lord
Then we cannot afford to neglect
Our level of respect for Jesus!
