Turning the other cheek has been misunderstood
You turn the other cheek because
You are going to face your opposition
i.e. you are turning to face him/her again

It was necessary to turn and face Cyprus
Because it is the Lord in whom we trust
It was necessary for us to challenge them
It was okay when they insulted us because
We know that the Word of the Lord will melt their actions
Yet we understand that a fraction of our response
Must maintain our sanity because we know that
We were also once enemies of the Gospel of Heaven
We know that we are saved through God’s Grace and Mercy

We dislike challenging people but we know that
Jesus did and so we should be brave enough with
The help of the Holy Spirit to turn the other cheek and
Stand and face our enemy again

Turning the other cheek has been misunderstood at times
