I See

I see the Father sitting
On His Heavenly throne
With His arms outstretched
Pleading with His children, to come home

I see Him crying out
With all of His heart
Come sit on my lap my child
Your life will not work, with me apart

I see the tears
Which are in His eyes
Pleading, children please
On Me, please rely

Can a mother forget?
They’re suckling child?
Neither can our Father forget us
We are His workmanship, His joy and pride

I am the Great Sculptor
You are but the clay
You cannot walk free
Unless by Me, you will stay

Come back to Me
All My prodigal sons
I long to hold you in My arms
And forgive the wrongs that you have done

I will give to you
A garment of pure white
I will turn all of your darkness
Into My glorious light

With my arms outstretched
I am sitting here
Hoping that soon
I can hold you near

I sent the Holy Spirit
To give your hearts a tug
Yield to him My child
I want to give to you a hug

If you could only understand
How great My love is for you
You would see many things much different
And it would change the things, which you do

There is much that I cannot do
Until you come near to Me
I always will give to you a choice
I never control, as does your enemy

Even though I love you
My hands are tied
Until you give to Me permission
I can’t invade your heart, inside

I gave to you My Son
For you to know My love
But till you cry out to me
The answers can’t come, from above.
