If we recognize you want to be loved and cherished too...

Even if you cant afford that diamond ring...

You see what we women need to realize...

Is instead of using that power between our thighs...

To trap you, hurt you,or bring you down to your knees...

That power should help you soar above the trees...

Black Man we know that you have to take so much...

But yet and still your strength, wisdom, and your gentle touch...

Has been passed down from generations to generations...

Black man you are being groomed to lead a nation...

It's ok to want a real woman to cook and clean...

To want a real woman on who you can lean...

A real woman who won't tell you no...

When that special part of you says baby lets go...

Over here on this kitchen counter top...

So you can make us say baby, baby please don't stop...

Up or down she'll be by your side...

She will know that she can safely hide...

Inside your secure, loving, strong embrace...

And stare into your handsome brown face...

And see the many struggles you have to bear...

And know cause you dont always show it, that love is there...

We'll know that no matter what they say...

A good Black Man will always make a way...

To provide for his kids and to make them smile...

To let them know daddy will be here for awhile...

Black Man though it may sometimes seem...

We don't understand what appreciating you really means...

We do know you're made from a special mold...

So finding new ways to show you will never grow old...
