He Paid

Jesus gave it all
When on the cross His life He gave
He then said, “It is finished”
So the price for you and I has been paid

He paid for our salvation
We can spend eternity with Him
He shed His blood
To wash away our sin

He paid for our deliverance
He paid for our healing too
He paid for abundant life
He paid it for me and for you

He paid so that we might be led
By His Holy Spirit power
So that we would not be comfortless
In this final hour

He paid so that we might be strengthened
When we walk through many a storm
He paid so we could have a smile
Instead of a face forlorn

He paid so that we would be empowered
To do the works of Him
He paid so that others
Can spend eternity with Him

He paid the cost already
His side was pierced and bled
So we just receive by faith as ours
The victory He said

If you do not know Jesus
Salvation will be yours today
Just ask Him to forgive and save you
And watch for Jesus to come your way

Just come into agreement with His Word
And believe that what Jesus said is true
His promises are yes and amen
His promises are for me and for you.
