Heavenly Father we thank you that Christian Poetry is prepared for 2008
We thank you that you are the future and
That you know the outcome of 2008
We thank you that the Christian Poets
Will write what is needed and
Not just write what sounds good
We know that the world will try to be foolish
We know that people will have problems
We know that the enemy will try its nonsense
But we also know that you are Sovereign
We know that you sent Jesus to die on the Cross
So that we all could be saved
We know that you love man and
We know that you answer prayer and
So we are grateful and thankful that
Christian poetry has been prepared for 2008
We declare to honour your Name
We declare to live according to your purpose
We declare to listen to people
Father we thank you
