We have great scholars when it comes to the Bible
Some are skilled in the art of Greek and Hebrew
Some understand the concepts of hermeneutics and
Some can exegete the scriptures very well but
Some of them who have the knowledge are far from the Lord
They don’t have a romance with the Lord
All they have is knowledge of the Lord
They are scholars but not really men of God
They neglect the contribution of the Holy Spirit

We must make sure that our balance is right
I love studying the Word of the Lord but to
Sit with Jesus in prayer and laugh, weep and
Romance with Him is far greater
He gives me the knowledge that I should study
He keeps me up to date and I am grateful for His mercy
I don’t only want to be a scholar of the Bible
I want to fall in love with Him, over and over

Many don’t have a romance with the Lord
