Turn Your Receiver On 01/23/2003

Tune your receiver on
To the Holy Spirit wave length
As you will be blessed
And always find new strength

There are many stations broadcasting
In the spiritual air waves
But only one is of God
The others will take you into caves

Many of the stations
Broadcast doom and gloom
They always try to steal
They never play a happy tune

They are full of gossip
With a critical or judging theme
That will always put someone down
Instead of uplifting them with deliverance in their wings

There are many demonic voices
Broadcasting in the spiritual air
Which promote greed and pride
And much discouragement and despair

They broadcast selfish lusts
Though in bondage you, they will ensnare
They broadcast condemnations
With lying spirits talking, unawares

They broadcast total deception
And attempt to drown out that still small voice
So you must learn to listen
Make this a priority and choice

The Holy Spirit channel
Will lead and guide you to all truth
It will lead you in to the straight and narrow
And give to you God’s fruit

The Holy Spirit station
Offers music and news
This station even has
The Word, through Heavenly views

This station even will tell you
Where the shoes are you thought were lost
And how to purchase the things that you need
With little or even no cost

This station broadcasts joy
And power and love
This station sends out faith
The God kind from above

This station gives you power
To heal the sick and lame
And to cast out demons
Through the power of Jesus’ name

This station will tell you
About a lost or hurting one
And how to pray and intercede
Till new victory the person has won

This station will expose
Why that others have been bound
And make you a delivering hand
With power to lift them up, from off of the ground

If you will tune your receiver
To the Holy Spirit wave length
You will always be blessed
And be built up and find new strength

Your walk with Jesus will touch lives
That you never dreamed that through you could be
Because when you are listening to the Holy Spirit speaking
Others will be blessed and be set free

I would encourage you to learn to listen
As God’s sheep will know His voice
Yet it is not automatic, it is a process
You must choose to listen, it is a choice.
