"The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost."-John 14:26


Our God is the God of all Comfort, who is touched like we are touched; He feels like we feel. He is a God of compassion. His name is the Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious; long-suffering (extra-ordinarily patient) and abundant in goodness and in truth. In this dispensation of the Holy Spirit, It is the Holy Spirit who comforts us.
Jesus is the express image of the Father, and before He left for glory, promised another Comforter- One just like Him- the Holy Spirit, the Sprit of truth, the Spirit of Jesus, the Spirit of Grace, the Strenghtener, Standby and Guide, Advocate Who will plead for us, the Intercessor Who would pray for us and pray through us according to the perfect will of the Father. He is the one Who convicts us of sin and leads us to repentance. He is the One Who takes the hidden things (goodies, treasures), of Jesus and reveals them to us. He unveils our mission and vision in life and empowers us to fulfill it. He empowers us- anointing us to do that which is impossible in the natural. He adds His ‘Extra ‘to our ‘ordinary’ and His ‘Super’ to our natural, and the result is, extraordinary and supernatural manifestations in our lives.
He is also the Holy Spirit Who sanctifies us making us vessels meet for the Master’s use. And when our spiritual batteries become weak, He recharges them and re-launches us.
Is your prayer life in need of rejuvenation? Plug into Him for revival. Are you unsure for your mission in life? Invite Him and ask Hi to unveil your calling. Do you feel worthless because of sin? Call on Him to help you live for Him. He is the Helper, Paraclete- one come alongside to help. Are you in distress? invite Him to come and comfort you and give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy in place of mourning, the garment of praise in place of the spirit of heaviness..
