Evidence of God's power in the physical world is all around us all the time. The universe functions in an orderly manner. Scripture tells us God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, and holds them there by the power of His Word. (Heb.1:3) The seasons come and go dependably. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West--no surprises there. Unlimitd Power is everywhere evident. But we sometimes forget that the same Omnipotence reigns in the spiritual world as well.

For instance, when we consider the Great Commission (Go teach every nation) (Matt.28:19), we blink. What an insurmountable task! We slip suddenly into thinking only of our own puny ability, that it is all up to us. How can we reach and teach the lost of all the earth? We cannot, but by God's omnipotence, it will be accomplished. His Word proclaims that He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but would have every person to be saved and come to repentance and knowledge of the Truth. (Ezek.18:23, 1 Tim.2:4) The power that spoke Creation into existence is well able to provide redemption for those who seek it. His hand is not shortened that He cannot save. (Isaiah 50:2b)

It is presumptuous for us to think it all depends upon us. Scripture clearly tells us that the End of Time will not come before the gospel has been preached to every nation. (Mark 13:10) We can depend on it. What God has promised, He will bring to pass.

However, in no way does this lessen our assignment to do our level best to share Jesus as far and wide as we possibly can. It is our Father's business, and we must be about it. But it does lift the burden of completing the task by our own feeble efforts. That would tend to be discouraging. We are reminded not to grow weary in well-doing, for we shall reap in due season if we faint not. Our job is to work earnestly in the Lord's vineyard. We need not worry about how or when the crop will be harvested. The Master will see to that.
