It was early in the morning and the sun was starting to give the clouds it's first kiss of the day. I could see the reflections of the dew on the grass, like diamonds strewn on the ground by a lavish creator. What a beautiful day this promised to be. As the morning crisp wind blew, I held my coat closer to my body.

I opened the wooden gate for her and the wood crackled as it swung on it's hinges. She took her first steps into the open grassy field and the grass crunched beneath her beautiful feet. This was my morning routine. Something I did morning after morning, yet it never lost it's luster, to let out the princess for our early morning walk. Her eyes were big and her lashes long. She turned and looked at me and my heart melted with love for her. Her skin was beautiful, glistening in the morning light. I run my hand all over her face, and kissed her lightly on the tip of her wet nose. She lowered her head and took her first bit of breakfast. As she began to chew, her jaws moving from side to side, I knew that I truly was in love with my beloved Friesian cow!
