Today I will pick up a new pencil

You are a Great and loving God
Today I will pick up a new pencil
I will honour you even more, my Lord
Because you are my strength
I don't deserve anything
Yet your mercy is Great

You are the 'Lamb'
You surrended your life
You traded a 'crown'
For thorns and now that I'm here
You protected me from being 'torn' apart

You are the 'one'
There is none like you
Your name is Eternal
Oh, loving Saviour
You are everything

My pencil was given to write about your story
You are the Son of God
My hands were made to worship you
My voice was given to give you glory
My pencil was given to write about your story
You are the lamb

Today I will pick up a new pencil and
I will honour you even more, my Lord
I will honour your purpose and
Your Holy Name
I don't deserve anything
Yet your mercy is Great

I am glad you use your pencil to write about God and what He has done for you. I am glad to see you writing what is in your heart. I have mentioned before that writing is sometimes more beneficial to ourselves than it may be to others. But sharing helps bless others too. Keep on keeping on and God bless you, Mark. God loves you and you show your love to Him by writing....Helen

 This is beautiful- I especially like the above quotes! He is the Lamb! We were placed here to write about His glory and his story! Danette
