How Many Times
How many times have I walked down this road before
But I never saw you, tiny flower, so small and very dainty -
No scent to attract attention and yet I do believe
You have been hiding here all the time.
How many times have I passed this way before
Yet failed to see you standing there all on your own,
So all alone and yet surrounded,
Lost in a sea of faces.
Time after time people pass us by; we barely seem to notice,
So preoccupied are we with our own thoughts and selves
Yet each is precious to the Lord, each known to Him by name;
Let us not fail to see them.

Very nice write. Your words are so true. God bless and keep writing!
I love this so much. It is wonderful to know that we will never be missed by the One who always sees. Beautifully expressed.
Oh, this is so heart-touching! Yes, we need to be more observant of others around us, and reach out with the love of Christ. So many "little flowers" feel forgotten by the crowd...even in the kingdom of God.
