A dream I have and hold so near,
Though painfully sad, it’s still dear;
If joy could follow so much pain,
Then I would hallow this dream I name;

When I die, close my eyes;
When I fly, wave good-bye;
My desire would be the last to see,
You, with love, forgiving me;

So with each beat, I will wait
For life complete, sealing fate;
Though joy waits, beyond last breath,
Bless my fate; this, my death;

Usher me through with one last blessing,
Grant this good at my resting;
Your faces last, followed by His;
Your love to cast me to His bliss.
