Ain’t No Doubt About It!


One of the favorite tricks of Satan is to make the Saints feel that they have no salvation because of something they did in their past or something that they are trying not to do now, but find themselves doing. What the enemy is trying to do is make those that are believers and worshippers of Christ, to doubt themselves as Saints of God. If doubt gets a wedge in our spirit, unless we kill it dead, eventually it will “kill” our spirit, and “steal” our joy, and “destroy” our hope for eternal life. It will be the start of a backslide into darkness and may jeopardize ones quest for eternal life with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Once doubt is in the house, it acts like termites, eating away from within, and the next thing you know, your house is falling apart. No longer is there consistent bible study attendance. No longer is there consistent attendance to Evening Sunday Services. No longer is there consistent early morning praise and worship, and waking up just praising the Lord, giving thanks because of life and the prospect of eternal life. No longer is there tolerance when the waitress messes up your order and doesn’t care that she did. No longer is there compassion with the homeless and the oppressed. Finally, it just gets to the point where there is no repenting spirit at all, only a haughty, stiff-necked disposition.

Therefore, Saints of the Most High God, let us not doubt, but be assured of who we are in Christ and our walk with him. We have to know that we know, that we know. There cannot be doubt in the camp and at the same time claim to be ‘servants of righteousness’. Romans 6:18. As for me, Ain’t no doubt about it! Saints, we have to know that we are saved, sanctified, holy ghost filled and fire baptized! We have to know that we are God’s people, a peculiar people, a royal priest hood, believing the report of Jesus Christ, and living with the holy ghost inside of us, guiding us to all truths. Ain’t no doubt about it!
“…If thou be the Son of God…..”
Don’t you know Satan tried to make Jesus doubt who “he” was, so we better be prepared to put the word on him just like Jesus did, “It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” St. Matthew 4:6-7. We have the word within us and on our side. There are no if’s, and’s, or buts; we are the Saints of God, and that is how we are to conduct ourselves with the enemy. When the enemy attack us in the restaurant through the waitress that doesn’t get the order right and really don’t care that she didn’t; let us put the word of God on the enemy, “Thou has proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou has tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.” Psalm 17:3. Our Saviour left us with the holy spirit; let us listen to it and be guided to all truths. There must be a resolve to live according to the word and nothing but the word. Romans 12:1-2.


This is just another example of how we must prepare to be tried in this manner. Only the word of God can prepare us for such trickery. St. Matthew 24:24. Therefore we must certainly be prayed up, leaving nothing to chance; constantly in communion with our Father, which art in heaven, in Jesus name. Constantly applying the word to ourselves when problems occur and test spring forth, trying us, tempting us. It’s the word that we must fall back on “…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” St. Matthew 4:4. Saints if we are keeping the commandments and praying when we slip, confessing to God and asking for forgiveness, and forgiving others, then don’t be fooled by the trick of the enemy, you are saved, so be encouraged to continue the fight of faith, purposing in the heart to be perfect before God. We have total victory! Therefore, let everyone that have breath, praise the Lord! God is good and worthy to be praised. So then,

WHAT SHOULD THE SAINTS REMEMBER?

It is Satan’s job to try and “steal” our joy, and “kill” our spirit through doubt, and “destroy” our purpose for eternal life. Therefore, let those that believe the report of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, remember the promises of our Father concerning our salvation. First and foremost for us, he gave his only begotten Son so that we can live. Unlike all the other patriarchs and strong men and women of God, they all died and their remains turned to dust. Jesus died, but he rose again; his remains did not see dust or decay as we know it. He lives! We serve a “Living God”. Acts 2:31; Jeremiah 10:10; St. John 6:51. We serve a God that guaranteed us Grace and Mercy if we would believe. Just as Abraham endured long ago, so it is that Saints of God must endure now, and keep the faith as Abraham did. It was counted unto him as Righteousness. Today, we have the holy ghost to lead us to all truths, and if we be obedient to the spirit of the Lord, the Word of God, then we too will be Righteous. God made a covenant with Abraham and his seed; this has not changed. Hebrews 6:13-15; St. Luke 1:72-75. This is who we are. We are children of a Mighty-God, and this Mighty God is with us today. There is nothing we should fear, because the Lord thy God is with us. Not only is he with us, but he is a God that is very merciful, even though we don’t deserve it. St. Luke 1:77-78; Micah 7:18-19.

Rahab the Harlot didn’t doubt – she must have figured, Ain’t no doubt about it!

When the enemy come to us with thoughts of doubt, let us hold fast our profession and remember the Word of God just as it is written, by letting faith have its perfect way in our lives, believing the word of God without question. Genesis 15:4; Acts 2:36. For it is written, “…faith without works is dead.” St. James 2:20. We must have the same faith that the harlot Rahab had. There was no doubt in her mind, and she saved her entire family, because she doubted not, but had faith in the God that parted the Red Sea, and destroyed the Amorites, and Sihon and Og. She knew who she was – a believer - Joshua 6:25. Can you save your household today, as Rahab the harlot saved hers? There was nothing fancy that she did, she just believed and then had faith in the messengers, and then put faith to work by being obedient to the words of the messenger, by having her household in the right place when they came. Are we in the right place with God? Will we be spared when he come back? Have we been doing what the messengers of God have been telling us? Rahab was a harlot, but as you can see, titles isn’t what moves God; faith and belief does! Hebrews 10:38. There cannot be a doubt about who God is or who we are in this walk with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.



WHY IS IT MORE CRITICAL NOW, NOT TO DOUBT WHO WE ARE?

More than ever, the time has come for the Saints, those that are called by his name, and those that believe the report of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, and those that profess to love him with all their heart and with all their soul and all their strength, to get on one accord, just as the disciples were in the “upper room”. Acts 1:13-14. Nothing would have been accomplished that great day in the upper room, if the disciples doubted who they were or who they served and represented. Likewise, today, in these last and evil days, Satan would like nothing more than to confuse us concerning our salvation, and cause us to give up our purpose and gift of eternal life, and spend eternity with him in hell.
Why can’t I wear pants! What’s so wrong with wearing pants?
More than ever, the Saints must get on one accord and stop all the bickering on these type things. It is doubtful that a woman is going to hell purely because she wear pants, however, lets look at the perfect will of God on the issue. Remember God changes not; Jesus the same yesterday, to-day, and for ever. God said that a woman should not wear that which pertaineth to a man, and vice-versa; if they do, it’s an abomination. Saints, if this was an abomination to God then, you can rest assured, it’s an abomination to him now. Hebrews 13:8; Malachi 3:6; Deuteronomy 22:5. So, why don’t we just come together on the subject, and represent God as a peculiar people, and not like this “world”. Okay, I feel people running wild with this already. All things should be done decently and in order, so please use common judgment; if a woman is working in a cement plant, it would not be decent, or in order, for her to wear a skirt. Perhaps, however, more thought on that type of job should be considered. In any event, doubting God has brought this type of wedge between the women and men of God; if we keep bickering on the little things, we won’t come together as everyone did at the day of Pentecost. Our instructions have already been given. Acts 1:14; St. Mark 16:15. Lets be unified in serving our God, so that the enemy will recognize that the servants of God is also a formidable opponent. The enemy already know without a doubt, that he will be defeated, that is why he trying to take as many Saints down to hell with him as he can; he knows his time is short. Revelation 12:12.

HOW CAN WE DEFEAT THIS ENEMY OF DOUBT?

First, we need to stick together by encouraging each other, rather than bickering over whose boss, man or woman. All of us at some point feel inadequate or unworthy. The Saints of God must encourage each other during these times with the truth, via the word of God. We can do this by having an encouraging word, such as reminding each other that all things work for good, for those that love the Lord. Reminding the Saints that this too, shall pass. Reminding each other that joy cometh in the morning and it just a light thang, and only for a moment. Comfort each other through encouraging words – reminding each other that the God we serve will never forsake us and that his mercy is abundant.

Praying Together – When the Saints touch and agree together, Jesus is there in the midst. St. Matthew 18:19-20. These are Saints that believe and do not doubt, and are expecting their miracle just as God parted the Red Sea for the Israelites and brought them out of Egypt. Today, we too can expect our miracles through praying together. Acts 2:42-47.

Testimony – Many say that misery loves company. Well there is a lot of truth to that old saying. Saints must share their past faults and failures with others that are going through the same thing. A lot of confidence can be gained by sharing where God has brought you from. People generally want to think that they are not the only alcoholic in the Church. There is comfort in knowing that if God saved one alcoholic, he can save another. If he saved one liar and backbiter, he can save another. When I was a young Saint, the best word that I read was David. I figured if David could be the apple of God’s eye, after that Bathsheba business, I was in good shape, and my confidence in making it sky-rocketed! I thought, “man I really have a chance to make it in Christ”.

In my conclusion:

WHAT THEN CAN WE SUMMARIZE ABOUT DOUBT?

There can be none; it is too deadly a habit. Deadlier than cancer from smoking, or sclerosis of the liver from drinking; a habit a Saint cannot afford. We are more than conquerors, because of the love of Jesus. We have a spirit in us that is called the Holy Ghost. This is the spirit we must surrender to, not flesh, because those in the flesh are not Children of God. Romans 9:8. Doubt is a tool of Satan and should not be found in the tool boxes of believers. There is nothing a believer can fix with doubt; as a matter of fact, it is a fleshly contributor to sin, which then is a direct link to death. There is nothing good in doubt and only the good and perfect gifts are from the Father. St. James 1:15-17.

MY CONCLUSION:

Let’s not let anything, or anyone separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. Those that believe, continue to believe. All believers have their instructions, so don’t doubt=====(believe. St. Matthew 28:17-20.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
Nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
Separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
