June sat in the waiting room of the hosiptal waiting news on her badly bruised and beat up daughter. How can she put up with this? June prayed that her daughter would get out of this relationship with Micheal.

June remember the last conversation with Lisa. How her daugther thought that Micheal was only man for her? He controled her every move; she couldn't come for a visit unless he was with her.

"You can go in and see her now. She is a little sore but she'll be okay," the doctor said leading her into her daughter room.

Her face was filled with black and blue marks, her arm was in a case. Tears rolled down June face as saw her daughter in such pain.

"It's okay mom. I just fell down the stairs. My body will heal," she said grapping her mother hand.

"I know you didn't fall down steps. How long are you going to put up with this abuse from him? You know that you deserve so much better than this. I love you and I don't want you to end up ," June cried, hugging her daughter.

"You turn alright. I remember grandma coming over to the house to talk to you about leaving Dad. But you loved him so much and knew that you could change him if you only had the chance to. I believe you would still be with Dad today, if he had not ran off with that woman," Lisa said to her mother.

First June was shocked and next she was upset with herself. It was her fault that Lisa was with Micheal. Her daughter saw how she held on to her father no matter how badly he beat her. June had lied to family and friend to protect her husband.

"I'm sorry that I set that example of what a loving relationship is? I'm so sorry, please forgive me. Now I realize that your action are the reflection of what you had seen me put up with. This is not a Godly relationship that you have with Micheal. When I began to read the Bible and found out what love is all about; I then realized that I never knew love and had never loved anyone else. The Bible says to love others as yourself. Baby, mama didn't love herself so she put up with whatever, to make others happy. That was wrong," June said as the tears continue to flow down her cheek.

"I love you Mom. I am going to get help because I don't deserve this in my life. I have a college degree but I'm acting like a high school dropout trapped in a bad relationship," Lisa said hugging her mother tightly.

June learned a very important lesson that she was the reflection that her daughter was living by.
