Find Me

[1]
‘Til I marry you,
I’m only married to
The Man
Who holds us both in His hand.
Baby, find me.
Really find me.

I don’t wanna know
what you think you see
‘til you really find me.

[2]
I smell rain coming.
I’m always running
to the rain.
And I know you do the same.
Baby, know me.
Really know me.

I don’t wanna know
what you think you see
‘til you really know me.

[3]
When you hear the sound
of my music down
in your soul,
it’s only then that I’ll know
that you’ve found me.
Have you found me?

I don’t wanna know
what you think you see
‘til you’ve really found me.

[BRIDGE]
Baby, surround me
when you’ve really found me.
Baby, see me.
I just want to be me
(with you.)

They all try to define me.
Baby, find me.
Can’t seem to find you.
And I just can’t define you.
(I know I’ll just know you.)

So I’m praying that you’ll find me.
You’ve just got to find me.
Baby, find me.

This is what we all really want in a loving relationship- to be truly known. And for someone to really take that time to really know us inside and out. The outside part is easy, the emotional, the way we tick... that is the hard part! Thanks for sharing this! Danette

Oh, Treava... this is great! What you wrote here is SO VITAL: "I just want to be me (with you.)" The ability to be completely ourselves with the ones we love is the KEY. We can't be 'what they want or expect' and have a good relationship. We need to be 'real' and it's then that the relationship will work. If it doesn't, you'll know it wasn't the genuine thing. So, to have someone FIND us and love us for OURSELVES - they are the two BIG ingredients! I hope and pray some wonderful person will FIND and APPRECIATE you... very soon. You are a priceless jewel and someone is in for a great reward when they FIND you! More love, Peggy

Wish I could hear it with the music, but I like the lyrics. And the sax photos. I love saxophone!

Just knowing each other...knowing God...being. That's all that matters. :)
