Words of Fire
Words of fire
Pure; pristine
Converts the soul
Removes the mire.
They move into you
And never depart
Destined to finish
What they start.
Hearts aflame…transformed
To burning lamps.
Changing, shining
Like soft glowing embers.
Filled with compassion
And oil of joy -
Beyond our reasons
We are now risen,
Throughout all seasons.
We do not fade,
Nor do we tire
As we consume
Words of fire.
Brightening the darkness
warming the night
With Words of Fire-
Eternal Light.
Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD;
and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our
heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way,
and while he opened to us the scriptures?
