RISE UP!
Rise up, oh, Christian heart!
Believe, declare, and hope!
Hope nerves the arm that toils alone.
‘Tis Faith that brings the Hope!
Be not afraid of waves,
Or wind and rain that comes.
His voice, alone, can calm and hold
That raging fearsome storm!
The tempter comes, in vain,
To men who love His heart.
None can resist this love, so strong,
That Jesus does impart!
Rise up, oh, Christian soul!
The grave is not our goal!
For Christ the God-Man died for all,
Redeeming trusting souls!
