My mother worked hard for many hours bringing me into this world. She licked me clean and then she pushed me close to her . I was warm , loved, and fed.

I enjoyed playing along with my brother and sisters. We had fun biting each other's tails and ears. We were so very close . I was a happy puppy with a heart full of mischief. How I loved to romp through the tall green grass and jump in all the mud puddles. I loved people and I dreamed of being adopted by a human who would love me too. I dreamed of chewing on pillows and giving soggy kisses. Then that day came...

You were not what I expected. You did not know what it would be like to have a puppy in your home. I guess I was not what you really wanted either.

It wasn't long till the attention I got from you vanished. Before long I found myself being locked in the basement all alone. How I cried.

You never payed me any attention except when you would
hit me with your shoe .I was in alot of pain because you broke some of my ribs. I didn't think you meant it though. I loved you anyway. I was always glad to see you. No matter the pain I was in.

Several days would go by before I would get any food or water. I was so hungry that I chewed my toenails off.

The days and nights all ran together. I never saw
the sun again . I never breathed fresh air again.

I am scared were the thoughts that were in my head before you through me in to that creek. I never seen it coming because you put me in a garbage bag. I couldn't breathe.

No need to worry now human. I am not going to bother you again. You see I am in Doggie Heaven now. You can't hurt me.

There's one last thing I would like to say to you my human. If you didn't want me then why did you bother? If you didn't want to care for me then why did you bring me to your home? Don't you remember? I did not choose you, but you chose me!What did I do that was so wrong?

This scene depicted really happened. There are animals just like
this puppy who die cruel deaths at the hands of their owners.
Often animals are tortured because of the shear hatefulness that
dwells within wicked hearts. God does not intend for us to abuse
any living creature. Not ever should such crime be tolerated.

I believe people that do such terrible deeds as this should be
charged with a felony. I believe that stiff penalties should be applied because this may prevent further abuse.

Many people grow up thinking that it's perfectly fine to torture
cats, dogs, ect. They view animals as worthless creatures. I am
sure that ,if God thought they worthless , He would have never
botherd to create them to begin with. Because God did create them, this tells me that He values the life of an animal.

Many animal lovers such as myself are in the process to push the
"Buddy Law" This law came into place when a black lab puppy was
brutely tortued. This dog was beaten and then submerged into pvc
glue. Then he was thrown by the wayside to die. He suffered terribly before anyone found him. His eyes and mouth were glued shut. The dog was just begining it's life. I am sure it felt just as this puppy did in the scene above. It wanted to live and play with people. It wanted to be the creature that God wanted it to be. He never got a chance to live. He was put to sleep.

What a waste of a beautiful life. I am sure God will hold those who did this accountable. In the mean time , I plan to do all I can do to voice my concern and try to get the law passed in Mississippi to make cruelty to animals a felony in all of Mississippi. Right now it's only a minor offence and a person can be fined one thousand dollars and spend 6mos. in jail. This is not enough. Please be part of this by writing your senators
and governor. I did ! I will continue to protest along with others until we get results. Please feel free to copy this .
If you are interested, you may be free to publish it.

In loving memory of all the little animals who
die because of animal cruelty.
