This day is light.

Sunburst sky
In Heavenly blue...
Warmth on my face.

A day to walk alone.

Lost in thought
Beside the golden stream...
Liquid diamonds flowing on
In their journey toward the sea.

My thoughts are joy.

This day is Holy.

I stand a creation
To worship the Creator...
In a forest cathedral
Of towering trees and fallen leaves.

I am a part
Of mysterious nature.
A part of moss and shadow...
Glistening rock and calling owl.

I am a part of this day.

A part of dusty light
Falling through the trees...
Lighting water drops
That cling to branch and vine
like jewels.

This day is for prayer.

Of thanks and of deliverance
From darker days.

This day is light.
