Dancing flowing to and fro
Breathing deeply slow to go
Wandering gently in and out
Music's tide is not shut out

A thought, a wish, a prayer too
A dance of beauty through and through
The very heart of all we are
A place with freedom in its bars

A life begot within its self
A heart that beats of tempo's wealth
Souls of men will find it dear
And often shed one final tear

The Coda of an era gone
The reddish hues of coming dawn
Men will hear and often weep
Women sing while children sleep

Life will know the song of death
And all will draw a final breath
