A fiery dart is thrown
Lord, I moan and groan

You hear my tears and
You shield my fears
You are my protector
A help in trouble times
Jesus, Sweet Jesus, My Glory
The defender of my story
God the lover of my soul
When I am in despair
I thank you Lord that you care
Life is not always fair
However, my hope is in the Lord

A fiery dart is thrown but
The Lord shields me,
As I moan and groan
I thank you Lord that you hear my tears
You Shield my fears
