I had a conversation with the Lord who told me this story. One day a man with a contrite heart went to the market to buy food. He picked through the vegetables and fruit and found them not to his liking. He travel from store-to-store and found not one thing to buy. So, he planted his own garden of vegetables and fruit and found them not to his liking.

The man was distraught and called upon the Lord to ask why he couldn’t find vegetables and fruit to his liking. The Lord replied, “Seek your heart for Peace and Love” the man answered how I can eat my heart, for if I do, I’ll surly die. God spoke the same words again and left the man to think of what to do next. The man thought over the words of God and came to this understanding. Mankind’s contentment cannot establish a flesh filed heart. Rather, seeking the desires of the Lord provides contentment and a fulfilled Kingdom with delight. Seeking things of self-interest satisfies the flesh and the spirit is subdued. Open your heart to the Lord and your spirit will not be malnourished and controls the flesh.

The last few weeks have shown us men falling and stumbling over their flesh. Lead by the desires for money, sex, and cruelty to man and animals. Only the Lord knows how deceitful the heart is of men and women.The vale covering mankind’s deceitful heart now reveals his true character.

Stop living for self and live up to a correct lifestyle in Jesus Christ name.
